About the Central Queensland Centre for Rural and Remote Health

The James Cook University Central Queensland Centre for Rural and Remote Health is part of a national network of 16 University Departments of Rural Health, funded by the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training program as a workforce strategy.

This centre focuses on enhancing clinical placements by integrating students into practices, services, organizations, and communities, with a strong emphasis on engaging Indigenous communities.
