Exceptional Nursing Professional

To provide exceptional care to residents and patients, our team is seeking a compassionate caregiver who can deliver high-quality daily nursing services in accordance with company standards and federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Nursing Services (80%):
- Provide daily resident and patient care as instructed by the Charge Nurse.
- Ensure that the Plan of Care is maintained for the resident or patient.
- Assist with personal hygiene, elimination, comfort and safety, ambulation, lifting, skin care, nutrition, and hydration for assigned residents and patients.
- Offer support during end-of-life care and perform post-mortem procedures as needed.
- Monitor and report any pressure areas or skin breakdowns.
- Apply nursing treatments as required and provide daily rehabilitative/restorative procedures.
- Create a warm and calming environment throughout the unit.
- Respond promptly to resident calls.
- Inspect rooms for unauthorized items and report findings to the Charge Nurse.
- Maintain resident and patient rooms, work areas/equipment in a clean and safe manner and follow established infection control/standard precautions.
- Participate in care conferences as directed by the Charge Nurse.
- Attend all-employee and departmental meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
- Share observations and insights to improve departmental operations.
- Record entries such as ADL coding, intake/output, temperatures, weight, etc. in the electronic medical record.
- Report any changes in resident's or patient's condition to the Charge Nurse promptly.
- Communicate concerns and complaints voiced by residents, patients, or family members.
This position requires flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail to ensure quality care and efficient operations.
