Job Title

Network and Systems Architect

The Role
  • Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies, considering future enhancements and optimal performance.
  • Design and deploy Active Directory Servers, configure group policies, and integrate with Domain Controllers.
  • Assess operational networks and provide recommendations for improving hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory in a hybrid cloud model with on-prem Active Directory integration.
  • Oversee public cloud platforms (Microsoft Office 365), including Online Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure services.
  • Implement firewalls, IT security profiles, firewall security policies, DDoS policies, VPN policies, IPS policies, and ensure core network security.
  • Manage VoIP-hosted phone systems, CCTV camera systems, employee identification cards integrated with building security systems.
  • Provide recommendations, specialist knowledge, and system security measures to the software development team for secure systems.
  • Monitor network traffic, activity, capacity, and usage to ensure continued integrity and optimal network performance.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of all IT equipment and network inventory.
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures for ISO 27001:2013 Information Security standard adherence.
  • Conduct awareness sessions for users, conduct internal audits, and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
  • Design and implement computer network systems and IT solutions tailored to client business needs.
  • Provide IT and network support to existing clients and ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Analyze and suggest further network enhancements and implement them to optimize network performance for clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in a corporate setting.
  • Experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in cloud software, database systems, and MS Office applications.
