Job Title: Clinical Research Associate

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work within an inter-disciplinary team to provide clinical care, teaching and research with a focus on integrating MRI planning into treatment delivery. This role combines clinical work and research, providing comprehensive cancer care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to equity of healthcare delivery
  • Perform clinical services for inpatients, emergency presentations and outpatients as required
  • Provide clinical leadership to junior colleagues by ensuring high standards of patient care that conform to best practice and evidence-based guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with the integration of MRI planning in radiotherapy
  • Ability to contribute and embrace process change for quality improvement in patient care
  • Primary Medical Degree registrable with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or other specialist recognition as provided for the NSW (Non-Declared) AHO Staff Specialist Agreement or the Health Insurance Act 1973
  • Understanding of principles of clinical governance to promote quality and safety in healthcare, with experience in and commitment to evidence-based best practice
