About the Role:

Mercer Financial Advice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Advisor to lead our team in Melbourne or Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of financial advisers and support staff to achieve client, revenue, and related objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the team and increase client penetration.
  • Coach and mentor team members to maximize performance and leverage skills and strengths.
  • Ensure adherence to advice standards and processes, and maintain a positive culture within the team.
  • Develop and oversee new opportunities to grow the business, including corporate clients and innovative solutions.
  • Manage relationships with trustees and authorized representatives, and maintain a zero-tolerance approach to compliance breaches.
  • Practice management of advisers through peer review, oversight of advice, and attention to client outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong management and leadership skills, with experience in financial services.
  • Coaching and mentoring capability, with a focus on developing team members.
  • Technical proficiency in financial advice, with a strong understanding of industry regulations.
