Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for expediting and providing Parts Availability information for planned maintenance activities following Inventory Processes and ensuring excellent customer service to our Operations to deliver the right parts at the right time. This includes management of exceptions, assessing parts availability for scheduled work, and making recommendations in line with the Inventory Planning process.

About You

  • You have experience in ERP Parts Availability Tracking, preferably 1SAP.
  • You also have experience in ERP Work Order MRP management, preferably 1SAP.
  • Proven experience with monitoring parts availability & expediting is required.
  • You possess a collaborative mind-set and advanced interpersonal skills.
  • You are capable in building constructive long-term relationships.
  • You have proven ability to operate effectively in complex and ambiguous environments.
  • You can think laterally to independently resolve issues and influence change.
  • You are autonomous, detail oriented, organised, and objective.
  • You possess communication skills enabling the influencing of a diverse stakeholder group.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Expediting and providing Parts Availability information for planned maintenance activities following Inventory Processes.
  2. Management of exceptions, assessing parts availability for scheduled work, and making recommendations in line with the Inventory Planning process.
  3. Review free text items, identify opportunity for transfers, and ensure Parts Availability alignment with Work Order scheduling.
  4. Work collaboratively with external vendors, Inventory Planning (Manila) and Co-ordinate proactively and effectivity to expedite delivery of materials in deviation management for +4-to-+1-week horizon for maintenance planning and execution and liaise with MECOE.
  5. Accountable for expediting "At Risk" materials with large vendors for AU Assets.
  6. Attends weekly pre-scheduling meetings with maintenance teams to provide details updates on Parts Availability.
  7. Coaches end users to develop understanding of inventory planning process and integration points to optimise Work Management planning.
  8. Manages demand through the release of purchase requisitions, seeks to utilise inventory within the network by transferring stock, where possible.
  9. Frequent engagement with regional stakeholders and external vendors in conducting Parts Availability reviews and actioning recommendations.
  10. Proactively provide key insights to the inventory analysis team to support material availability and optimise inventory holdings.
  11. Assist the Superintendent Inventory Planning and Inventory (Manila) in resolving complex issues, review of work allocation, and any associated activities to manage team's performance.
  12. Assist Experience Owner team to continuously update and improve procedures and Quick Reference Guides (QRG) documentation for the team.
  13. Understanding customer needs through demonstrated connectivity.

Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
