Job Title: Digital Infrastructure Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Infrastructure Strategist to play a key role in driving our digital engineering strategy, managing complexity, and delivering speed to capability.

The successful candidate will develop and integrate Mission Engineering Models and Simulations using Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) digital modelling and simulation tools. They will define End-to-End Architecture solutions aligned to technology standards and roadmaps and strategies in response to business requirements.

  • Analyse and Evaluate Externally Sourced Models

This involves growing capability enablement maturity through collaboration with the team of our Digital Engineering Project, analysing and evaluating externally sourced models, and enhancing our knowledge base for execution.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, proficiency in MBSE methodologies and tools (SysML, UML), and knowledge of System Software lifecycle process including phased and scaled Agile approach.

Requirements:
  • BSc/BA in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in digital systems, including significant experience of below-the-line digital design and integration.
  • Professional Engineer certification with relevant professional body.
  • Proven experience in development of systems architecture within defence industry, aerospace, or other regulated environments.
  • Deep understanding of systems engineering lifecycle and digital engineering concepts.
  • Experience in capturing operational concepts as models and collaborating with stakeholders to obtain inputs and subsequently deliver high value of information from those models.
