Job Title: Regional Lease Construction Manager

As a Regional Lease Construction Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the construction process of data center projects from lease execution through Ready For Service (RFS). You will be responsible for ensuring that each project meets the Data Center Development (DCD) guidelines and standards.

The successful candidate will have 15+ years of experience in construction project management of data centers or mission-critical facilities. A degree in construction management or electrical/mechanical engineering is also required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational skills, and the ability to self-direct.

The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and construction deliverables. You will work closely with Microsoft's Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support the efforts of achieving RFS for each lease data center site. The LCL will coordinate meetings and activities of Lease Providers and internal MSFT SMEs, attend scheduled owner/architect/contractor (OAC) meetings, and report as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the construction process of achieving RFS.
  • Work independently in support of the DCD Project Team.
  • Track lessons learned and identify improvements to share across groups.
  • Route RFS approval to all stakeholders and regional approvers.
  • Ensure lease provider's compliance to lease agreement contract.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years in construction project management of Data Centers or Mission Critical Facilities.
  • Degrees and/or professional licenses in Construction Management or Electrical/Mech.
