Burgess Paluch is seeking a highly skilled Work Health and Safety Lawyer to join our team. As a Work Health and Safety Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on workplace safety and health matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct workplace investigations into incidents, including psychosocial hazards arising from business operations.
- Undertake safety reviews at mine sites and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement best practice solutions to safety management, working closely with clients in the construction and mining industries.
- Manage litigation and provide expert testimony in court.
- Assist in delivering seminars and interactive discussions on workplace safety and health due diligence obligations.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in Work Health and Safety law.
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety and health regulations and legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
