Emeco is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician to join our team at Griffin Coal Mine, located 10km east of Collie. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a work-life balance and a leisurely drive to work.
Key Highlights- Hourly rates up to $86.00 or $73.00 full-time + super (based on experience)
- 7:7 roster days and nights
- Drive to site from Perth (approx. 200km)
- Accommodation provided

- 11.5% super paid on all hours worked

- In-house training programs
- $5K refer a mate program
- Ongoing maintenance and optimization of Emeco's heavy earthmoving fleet
- Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
- Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimize the risk of injury to yourself and others
- Ensuring all maintenance and optimization targets are met on time and within budget
- Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organizational objectives
- 2+ years post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely working on Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi machines
- Recognized National Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter Trade Qualification
- High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
- Strong analytical mindset and solution-focused attitude
- Hold a current Australian Driver's License (HR is preferable)
- High risk license (is preferable) but we also offer in-house training
