About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to lead the successful launch and ongoing operations of our Customer Fulfilment Centres. This is a key role in driving safety, customer experience, cost, fulfilment, and delivery excellence.

As an Operational Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the operational success of last mile operations through go live and ongoing operations during evening or night shifts. You will oversee process compliance to drive safety and operational process improvement and collaborate with internal departments, state transport management, and 3PL transport providers to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery operations.

About Your Role

  • Lead and manage the operational success of CFC last mile operations through go live and ongoing operations during the evening shift or over night shift.
  • Responsible for coordinating the operations of a substantial CFC customer delivery team to achieve Coles' ecommerce KPIs for safety, customer experience, cost, fulfilment, and delivery.
  • Oversee process compliance to drive safety and operational process improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, state transport management, and 3PL transport providers to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery operations.

About You

  • Passionate about operational excellence and customer focus.
  • 3-5 years of management experience in last mile and transport/logistics cross-dock operations.
  • Experience managing large scale teams.
  • Prior experience with last mile and transport/logistics cross-dock operations.
  • Experience working within complex industrial relations frameworks.
  • Strong people leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and communicate with senior leaders across the organisation.
