Job Title: Registered Nurse

Your role at involves providing high-standard patient care to oncology patients on the Thomas Furlong Ward.

  • You will be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing compassionate care and expertise.
  • Maintain and develop clinical skills in order to care for patients appropriate to level of competence.
  • Deliver a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost effectively.
  • Act as the patient's advocate and facilitate the rights of individuals.
  • Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care.
  • Prioritise workload using resources effectively.
  • Provide supervision to Enrolled Nurses, students and PCAs as required.

To succeed, you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary healthcare team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. We are looking for Registered Nurses with minimum 2 years clinical experience and chemotherapy administration, preferably with Antineoplastic Drug and Administration Course completed.
