Providing exceptional patient care requires a unique blend of clinical skills, empathy, and communication abilities. As a skilled Registered Nurse in Recovery, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities- Maintain and develop clinical skills to provide appropriate care for patients.
- Utilize resources efficiently to deliver patient care.
- Support hospital policies, procedures, and standards by adhering to them.
- Act as the patient's advocate and facilitate their rights.
- Provide patient education and act as a resource where necessary.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care in recovery.
- Prioritize workload using available resources effectively.
- Supervise Enrolled Nurses, students, and PCAs as required.
- Hold registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrate commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Show ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary healthcare team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
- Have a minimum of 2 years previous theatre/recovery experience in a hospital environment, with postgraduate qualification highly regarded.
- A competitive salary package includes up to $102,048 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
- Two full-time positions are available, working 38 hours per week.
