Product Opportunity Analyst

This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation global trading and market data applications within a SaaS-based distribution model.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for detailed analysis of product opportunities, driving data-informed decision-making as identified and defined by the team. They will collaborate closely with stakeholders to support the end-to-end product lifecycle by gathering and analysing user data, market trends, and business requirements to identify opportunities, validate product ideas, and evaluate product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of product opportunities and drive data-informed decision-making as identified by the team.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to support the end-to-end product lifecycle by gathering and analysing user data, market trends, and business requirements.
  • Champion the suite of Data and Analytics GTMD products, advocating for its value proposition and ensuring it is 'fit for purpose' through effective translation of key product features and tangible experiences that excite clients, drive business growth, and establish Iress as an industry leader in financial technology innovation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a product, data, business analyst, or similar role, preferably within a SaaS or data-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries.
  • Experience with analytics and SQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP, including ETL/ELT concepts.
  • A strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management processes.
