
Chief Environmental Noise Specialist

As a highly skilled Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for leading high-profile and large-scale projects. Your expertise in engineering methods and techniques will enable you to solve complex problems.
You will carry out technical tasks that require accuracy in calculations, data analysis, modelling and design. This includes manipulating and managing large data sets.
The opportunity to work on a wide range of projects is available, including environmental noise monitoring, building acoustics, 3D computer noise modelling, numerical analysis of results and associated reporting.
You will also have the chance to mentor or guide junior level staff, as well as develop your business development skills to bring your own influence to the breadth and range of projects the team works on.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A relevant bachelor's degree (ideally mechanical or electrical engineering, environmental engineering or science)
- 5-10+ years' experience within a consulting environment
- Capability and experience with coding, GIS, noise monitoring and prediction would be advantageous
- Experience and high competency with noise monitoring equipment and/or 3D computer noise models (SoundPLAN, CadnaA etc.) is essential
