Support Worker Role

The goal of this role is to empower people to live their best lives by providing support and care.

This includes helping with daily tasks, fostering inclusion and independence, and creating a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Support
  • Assist with hygiene, meals, and household tasks while respecting choice and preference.

Creating Connections

  • Foster inclusion through hobbies, social activities, and community events.
  • Build meaningful relationships with participants to support their goals and aspirations.

Sleepovers with Purpose

  • Be a trusted presence overnight, ensuring safety and peace of mind while supporting independence.

Empowering Growth

  • Help participants develop skills and achieve personal goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Passion for supporting people
  • Ability to work flexibly, including active and sleepover shifts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPR and First Aid Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Child Check (or willing to obtain)
