Backend PHP Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled backend developer to join our team in designing, building and maintaining secure, scalable APIs that support innovative digital solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality APIs with a strong focus on security, performance, and resilience.
  • Implement best practices including input validation, encryption, and version control.
  • Document APIs using OpenAPI and ensure consistent error handling and observability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot, and provide timely resolutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in PHP (8+) and Symfony development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database integration (Oracle and Postgres are advantageous).
  • Familiarity with API design, OpenAPI documentation, and Git/GitHub.
  • Experience with Linux-based systems (Redhat is preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a small team.
