Backend Engineering Role

This key position has emerged due to business expansion and ongoing project delivery needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain APIs focusing on security, performance, and resilience.
  • Implement best practices including input validation, encryption, and version control.
  • Document APIs using OpenAPI and ensure consistent error handling and observability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot, and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 3 years of PHP (8+) and Symfony development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database integration (Oracle, Postgres advantageous).
  • Familiarity with API design, OpenAPI documentation, and Git/GitHub.
  • Experience with Linux-based systems (Redhat preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a small team.
