Job Description

Hostplus is seeking a skilled professional to lead the implementation and ongoing enhancement of our climate risk management and sustainability reporting.

This role directly contributes to optimising long-term net investment returns for members by embedding climate risk and sustainability into investment processes.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing Hostplus' commitment to net zero by 2050 and leading the development of climate-related processes, conducting advanced modelling and analysis, and ensuring our disclosures meet regulatory and stakeholder expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Finance, Engineering, or Data Science.
  • Minimum 5–7 years' experience in climate-related financial analysis, scenario modelling (e.g., DCF, stress testing), emissions data validation, and sustainability reporting within superannuation, institutional investment, or asset management.
  • Experience in GHG emissions accounting (Scope 1, 2, 3) using recognised standards (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064), and tracking net-zero targets, energy efficiency, and renewable energy metrics.
