Teaching Position - Chinese/Mandarin

We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a classroom teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and experience working with students of various skill levels. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Direct teaching of groups and individual students, contribution to curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation within the school.
  • Classroom Management: Undertaking classroom teaching-related duties as determined by the School Principal, participation in activities such as parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps, and excursions.
  • Supervisory Duties: Supervisory duties outside of teaching hours.
Becoming an Effective Classroom Practitioner

New entrants receive support, mentoring, and guidance from experienced teachers, participating in professional learning activities to ensure integration of curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy across the school.

This involves structured planning, preparation, and teaching to achieve specific student outcomes. Teachers operate under general direction, following established work practices and documented priorities.

They may have responsibility for supervising and training one or more student teachers.
