Position Overview

The Childhood Education Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering a high-quality educational and care program within a collaborative team environment. This position is essential in addressing the developmental needs of children enrolled in the educational facility while adhering to the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework.

  • Actively participate in the overall operations and procedures of the educational facility.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for dedicated individuals who possess a strong passion for early childhood education. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the National Quality Framework and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Engage effectively with children and families to create a stimulating educational atmosphere.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team of educators.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Certificate III qualification recognized by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) and have relevant experience in early childhood services. Additional requirements include:

  • A valid Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
  • A First Aid qualification recognized by ACECQA, covering essential areas such as CPR and emergency management.
  • A Child Protection qualification, if not included in the Certificate III qualification.
