Position Overview

The Childhood Education Specialist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality educational programs tailored to the developmental needs of young children. This position is integral to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement engaging educational activities that align with the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming atmosphere for children and families.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience and ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework.
  • Build trusting relationships with children, families, and the community, promoting a sense of belonging.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering children's development. You will have a recognized Diploma or Associated Diploma in early childhood education and a minimum of 12 months of relevant experience.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or Associated Diploma level qualification recognized by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
  • Experience in early childhood services, demonstrating a commitment to the National Quality Framework and Standards.
  • Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, and First Aid qualifications approved by ACECQA.
