Job Title: Software Developer Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer Specialist to deliver high-quality software solutions that support complex business systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing, and delivering applications within agreed timeframes.
  • Leading systems analysis, design, and programming functions for critical applications.
  • Gathering requirements from end-users, providing technical expertise, and ensuring successful delivery.
  • Collaborating with integration specialists for seamless system interoperability.
  • Resolving complex incidents and outages, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions.
  • Maintaining existing applications, including upgrades and performance improvements.
  • Contributing expert advice to IT projects, aligning with business needs.
  • Liaising with vendors to resolve complex issues.
  • Supporting junior team members.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND SYSTEM INTEGRATION.
  • PROVEN TRACK RECORD DELIVERING LARGE, COMPLEX IT PROJECTS.
  • STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF .NET DEVELOPMENT, INCLUDING PROFICIENCY IN C# AND THE .NET FRAMEWORK/Core.
  • EXPERIENCE WITH ASP.NET MVC/WEB API, STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF OOP PRINCIPLES, ENTITY FRAMEWORK OR OTHER ORM TOOLS, SQL SERVER WITH ABILITY TO WRITE COMPLEX QUERIES, FRONT-END EXPOSURE (HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT).
  • RESTFUL API DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION, UNIT TESTING FRAMEWORKS, PROFICIENCY WITH VISUAL STUDIO AND GIT.CI/CD EXPERIENCE.
  • FAMILIARITY WITH AZURE SERVICES (APP SERVICES, FUNCTIONS, KEY VAULT), AGILE/SCUM DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE.
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, WITH ABILITY TO ENGAGE TECHNICAL STAKEHOLDERS.
  • STRONG PROBLEM-SOLVING, DEBUGGING, AND DOCUMENTATION SKILLS.
