Clinical Nurse - Quality and Risk/Infection Control Specialist

As a seasoned nurse, you will play a pivotal role in our facility's dual focus on quality and infection control. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement, monitor, and evaluate quality and infection control procedures.
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of data, KPIs, and infection control clinical indicators.
  • Conduct regular clinical audits and monitoring as required.
  • Provide education and training to staff on relevant topics.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • At least 5 years postgraduate experience and/or qualifications in either Infection Control and/or Quality Management.
  • Experience in the Acute setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A commitment to high-quality patient care.
  • High degree of computer literacy including MS Office and various databases.
