As a Care and Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
You will work closely with clients, their families, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans that promote independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care - Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assistive Technology - Use assistive technology to support clients with communication, mobility, and daily living needs.
- Community Involvement - Encourage clients to participate in community activities, promoting social connections and a sense of belonging.
- Maintenance of Records - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and support provided.
- Certificate III or IV in Disability - Hold a recognized qualification in disability support.
- First Aid Certification - Possess current first aid certification (valid for at least one year).
- Screening Checks - Meet eligibility requirements for NDIS worker screening checks and WA Working With Children's Check.
- Australian Driver's License - Hold an Australian driver's license and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
