Job Title: Fleet Manager - Yellow Gear

The role of Fleet Manager - Yellow Gear is a key position in our organisation, responsible for managing a small team and implementing daily maintenance schedules to maximise safety and equipment availability. This involves completing corrective work in a safe and efficient manner, as well as responding to equipment breakdowns to ensure maximum equipment availability and compliance with regulations.

As a Fleet Manager - Yellow Gear, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet, including managing relationships with suppliers and communicating industry trends and legislated changes that may impact Fleet operations.

The ideal candidate for this role will have significant experience in fleet management, sound knowledge of logistics and maintenance systems, strong leadership and influencing skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement daily maintenance schedules to maximise safety and equipment availability.
  • Complete corrective work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers.
  • Communicate industry trends and legislated changes impacting Fleet operations.
Requirements:
  • Fleet management experience.
  • Logistics and maintenance systems knowledge.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering/maintenance/logistics/business.
  • Mechanical background or trade.
