Education Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Education Specialist to join our team in 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for education and a commitment to Catholic values.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide leadership and support in writing and facilitating Diocesan formation opportunities for schools. They will also work strategically with schools to enhance their Catholic identity and mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and support in writing and facilitating Diocesan formation opportunities for schools.
  • Work strategically with schools to enhance their Catholic identity and mission.
  • Develop and implement spiritual/faith formation programs that speak to the spiritual, personal and professional aspects of all people.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-tertiary qualification (or currently enrolled) in a related field, including Religious Education or Theological Studies.
  • At least three years relevant experience in a comparable role (for example in education or ministry).
  • Relevant school, system or Church leadership experience demonstrating a capacity to provide leadership and advice at a school and system level.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Competency in facilitation, professional learning, interpersonal and communication skills.
