The Qantas Group is a leading aviation company that has been at the forefront of innovation and customer experience. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be part of the mobile team responsible for developing automation scripts and improving CI infrastructure.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our mobile team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our mobile applications by developing automation scripts and improving CI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing continuous development of automation scripts suite and improving CI infrastructure with the Mobile team.
  • Manually testing mobile applications.
  • Fostering a culture of quality being a whole team responsibility.
  • Exploring non-functional testing like accessibility/performance/security and improving on testing tools and test approach.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience with version control tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD, PR reviews.
  • Experience in embedding best practice in application testing within project delivery teams.
  • Ability to perform manual testing.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with Unit, Integration, System, End to End, UAT, PVT etc functional testing techniques.
  • Extensive proficiency in mobile testing + performance testing of APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automating test scripts for iOS using Swift-Xcode (XCUITest) and for Android using Kotlin-Android Studio (Espresso).
  • Knowledge and experience in Mobile App automation and Cross browser testing tools.
  • Expertise in pair programming with functional testers or QA Analyst on automation testing.
