About the RoleThis is an independent role, co-located with the Youth Justice Service, where you will support at-risk youth to achieve positive outcomes across key areas of their lives, including rehabilitation, wellbeing, education, and life skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Building trusting relationships with young people.
- Facilitating goal-focused programs and linking young people with relevant services.
- Advocating for client needs with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participating in case planning and coordination meetings.
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and countering negative peer influences.
Requirements:
- Experience working with at-risk youth.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to the vision and values of the organisation.
- An understanding of the issues facing people in regional WA.
