Finance Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the food manufacturing industry, with expertise in operational functions such as manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and sales.
- Conduct regular analysis to provide recommendations for manufacturing improvements that align to business strategy and continuous improvement objectives.
- Conduct analysis of operational performance and expenditure, including conversion costs, machine and labour efficiency, and waste, providing actionable insight.
- Lead commercial planning & reporting activities, including development of factory budgets, performance outlook, month end analysis & commentary on key drivers.
- Support operations Continuous Improvement initiatives through financial validation and tracking, focusing on labour and waste analysis.
- Provide financial and analytical support to the Commercial Finance Manager & CFO through the S&OP process, including tracking and understanding risks and opportunities.
- Minimum three years professional experience in technical accounting, financial variance analysis, and lean accounting.
- CA/CPA qualified (or studying towards).
- Strong knowledge of the food manufacturing industry and operational functions relating to manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and sales with special focus on dairy industry.
- Knowledge of operation and financial systems and information required to provide support for all aspects of FMCG business.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to turn data into information to drive real value creating commercial insight.
- Value and model great people management, be seen as a great line manager.
