About this role

As a Room Leader at Only About Children, you will be responsible for supervising and interacting with children, supporting and leading the room, and facilitating opportunities for children to learn through play.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating routines and educational programs
  • Completing and managing all reporting documentation, including individual and group learning, incident reports, risk assessment, and parent communication
  • Communicating with parents and families effectively on each child's social, emotional, and developmental wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care
  • Proven leadership experience in the same or like role
  • Experience with documentation and planning
  • Ability to form partnerships with families to reach the best possible outcomes for each child
  • An understanding of mandatory reporting obligations
  • WWCC and any other relevant certifications
