Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide community age care services.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a wide variety of customer presentations across aged care funding areas, including Home Care Packages, Commonwealth Home Support Program, and Short-Term Restorative Care.

You will support customers in achieving their goals related to daily living, mobility, and community participation by conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored therapy plans.

Additionally, you will assist with the provision of simple and complex equipment prescription, and major and minor home modifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA
  • Significant practical experience or extensive knowledge in providing OT Services, preferably in a Rehabilitation and/or Aged Care setting
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, organisation and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • First Aid and CPR certificate
  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to use your own insured vehicle for work purposes
