Early Childhood Educator Wanted

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children, develop your skills and contribute to the growth of our centre.

Job Description:

  • To implement and facilitate age-appropriate educational programs and activities that support the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children based on the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks.
  • To observe, monitor, and document children's progress, making adjustments to cater to their individual needs and interests.
  • To ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that adheres to all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • To collaborate with parents and guardians to build strong partnerships and support the overall wellbeing of each child.
  • To participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about their profession and career.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Childcare Educator in a similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development, early learning theories, and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for nurturing and guiding children, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Proficiency and compliance with National Law, the National Regulations and the National Quality Standard requirements, including child protection and workplace health and safety.
