Compassionate Care Worker

We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide holistic care to our clients in their homes. As a Compassionate Care Worker, you will be responsible for helping people with tasks they can no longer do by themselves, enabling them to live independently and empowered.

Our priority is to deliver tailored services that support our clients' individual needs, promoting a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. We offer a range of services including dementia care, domestic support, companionship, socialization, personal care, post-operative care, disability support, and skilled nursing.

A successful candidate will have the following skills and qualities:

  • Ability to provide personal and domestic care
  • Passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people in a community setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Willingness to participate in further education opportunities

The role includes:

  • Domestic assistance, including cleaning
  • Meal preparation
  • Assisting with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
  • Respite care
  • Transportation to appointments and shopping or other social activities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivering quality care and support to clients in their homes and communities
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent client outcomes

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged and Disability
  • Satisfactory Australian National Police check
  • Current or willing to obtain a first aid and CPR certificate
  • Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19 (including third dose, as required)
