About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Coordinator to join our team at dnata catering. As a key member of our Workforce Planning Department, you will be responsible for managing the supply and demand of our catering workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Rosters: Ensure that all roster management is in accordance with national processes within the Ground Star system.
  • Process Staff Movements: Administer staff/roster movements and the allocation of labor hire and overtime, whilst adhering to all EBA and business requirements.
  • Ensure System Integrity: Ensure systems' data entry and integrity, and provide input into creating rosters.
  • Act as Primary Contact: Act as primary contact for staff queries relating to published rosters.
  • Cover Absenteeism: Cover absenteeism, upload labor hire data, prepare and distribute day sheets for all areas of the Catering Business.
  • Provide Feedback: Provide regular and consistent feedback on all allocation processes highlighting any opportunities to the Labor Planning Analyst, Workforce Planner, and catering business.
  • Maintain EBA Compliance: Maintain an understanding of EBA and Industrial Relations requirements and ensure that they are applied correctly (including payroll compliance).
  • Report on Requirements: Reporting on requirements for development of systems and process improvements.
  • Deliver Customer Service: Delivery of a high level of customer service to internal/external customers.
Requirements
  • Workforce Planning Experience: Previous workforce planning experience in a similar role with high volume.
  • Resource Allocation: Demonstrate an understanding of and experience in allocation of resources.
  • Day of Operations Planning: Day of operations planning and live task allocation experience is highly regarded.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Pressure Management: Demonstrate ability to effectively work under pressure.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to model, influence, and encourage positive behaviours in the team.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to the changing needs and priorities of a fast-paced business.
  • Communication Skills: Self-motivated, possessing and demonstrating strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Conflict Resolution: Pro-activeness, can-do attitude, interpersonal skills, and conflict resolution.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ability to understand and apply policies, process, and Awards/EBAs.
  • Computer Literacy: Strong level of computer literacy skills.
