Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager role at Skechers Australia is a dynamic opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to lead a team and drive sales in our Homebush store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the store, achieving optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, and visual merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to achieve sales targets and KPIs, ensuring optimal store presentation and visual merchandising.
  • Motivate and coach team members to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Monitor store sales and identify areas for improvement, implementing strategies to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets.
  • Effectively manage wage costs, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards.
  • Develop and implement training and succession plans to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge to succeed.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC.
  • A motivated and driven attitude, with a passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
  • A proven track record in driving sales and meeting KPIs and targets.
  • Operational excellence and experience with stock control and visual merchandising.
