Commercial Strategy Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support a confidential project. This is a full-time fixed term position for four (4) months, based in Canberra. Interstate applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

This role will require an active AGSVA NV1 clearance on commencement and the successful candidate must be willing to upgrade to an NV2.

  • Develop commercial strategies to support tendering processes.
  • Prepare and review RFT documentation for compliance with Defence procurement requirements.
  • Evaluate commercial aspects of bid responses, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial objectives.
  • Provide expert advice to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Manage commercial and contractual risks effectively.
  • Commercial management experience within a Defence setting.
  • Strong knowledge of ASDEFCON, Defence procurement frameworks, and RFT processes.
  • Ability to assess commercial and financial aspects of tender responses.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
  • An active NV1 security clearance is essential.
