Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Fulton Hogan Infrastructure Services Business in South Australia. As an Estimator, you will play a key role in delivering road infrastructure projects and driving your career further with on-the-job skill development and coaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and train skills in direct cost first principles estimating
  • Build relationships with key market suppliers and subcontractors
  • Participate in the identification of tender risks and opportunities
  • Vendor analysis and benchmarking of offers received from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Measure, calculate, and record material take-off quantities
Requirements
  • Experience as an Estimating Assistant, QS, or Construction Site Engineer or a recent graduate
  • Understanding of mathematics and engineering
  • Exposure to or experience in pricing and delivering Civil, Asphalt, and/or Seal projects
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in using Benchmark or Expert Estimator will be highly regarded
  • Alignment with our values of Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude & Leadership
  • Aptitude for adopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely Culture
