The ACT Government is seeking a highly skilled Legislative Drafter to join the Parliamentary Counsel's Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legislative drafting services and advice in matters requiring a high level of expertise and judgment. Key responsibilities include:

* Providing legislative drafting services and advice in matters requiring a high level of expertise and judgment
* Reviewing the work of other drafters and taking a leading role in PCO committees and drafting projects with significant impact
* Assisting the parliamentary counsel in leadership, management, and building capacity of PCO, including developing and maintaining specialisation in an area of high relevance to the Territory's drafting needs

The ideal candidate will have admission to practice as a legal practitioner of the ACT Supreme Court, the High Court, or the Supreme Court of a State or another Territory, and experience with drafting bills and regulations.
