About the Role:

This is a key opportunity to contribute to an organisation's Learning and Development (L&D) function as a Specialist. The successful candidate will have a broad scope of responsibilities, including developing an L&D strategy aligned with workforce planning, coordinating relevant training with external providers and internal subject matter experts, and business partnering with various stakeholders.

The team has recently been established, working under a Director to create a strong HR function, supporting a small portfolio agency. As a high-performing specialist, you will be well-suited to this role, which offers opportunities for impact across stakeholders and informing organisational practices.

The position reports to a senior Assistant Director, supported by a Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. This is a chance to make a real difference in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an L&D strategy aligned with workforce planning
  • Coordinate relevant training with external providers and internal subject matter experts
  • Business partner with various stakeholders
  • Inform organisational practices across stakeholders

About You:

To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian citizen with experience in L&D, preferably at a similar level or equivalent in the private sector. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and strategically. A degree in a related field would be highly regarded.
