Job Title:

Senior Brokerage Executive

We seek a senior professional to manage placement requirements for clients and develop new markets and products.

  • Manage placement demands from customers.
  • Establish novel market access points and commercial offerings.

The successful candidate will also assist in converting prospects, identifying market opportunities, and retaining clients. This role is based in Melbourne and supports the Victorian and New South Wales markets, as well as clients across Australia and New Zealand.

The Role

You will apply your knowledge of domestic and overseas market appetite for Property and Casualty risks to:

  • Advise customers on optimal access points for key insurers.
  • Balance placements between markets to achieve sustainability and optimum pricing.
  • Develop broking strategies in collaboration with client relationship directors, servicers, and advocates.
  • Support tender response strategy and represent broking in client and insurer presentations.
  • Assist client servicers in managing client expectations.
Key Skills and Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Possess strong advocacy skills and excel at customer/carrier relationship development.
  • Have considerable experience in Property and Casualty broking and servicing complex clients, supported by relevant qualifications and commercial acumen.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Property and Casualty products and classes enabling you to focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Demonstrate leadership, ownership, and collaborative qualities as a strategic thinker.
  • Have strong technical and analytical capabilities.
  • Have outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess drive, ambition, and a focus on excellence.
