A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Transaction Analyst to join our Brisbane-based team.
About the Role
This role will involve participating in due diligence engagements related to acquisitions or disposals by private equity investors or strategic corporate buyers.
You will be responsible for analysing financial and operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records, conducting interviews with management, and preparing/evaluating pro forma financial information.
- Identify and analyse key value drivers to deliver financial and commercial insights which directly impact deal value and structuring.
- Based on your analysis, write up your findings and recommendations, and project manage information flows while managing key stakeholders.
- Work with colleagues from other disciplines on multi-faceted projects in cross border environments.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics.
Membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants or an international equivalent is required.
Strong Excel skills and high level of proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis are essential.
Demonstrate strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative team environment.
