Dedicated Educator Wanted

We are seeking a dedicated educator to support the growth of young people of faith, character and purpose in our specialist learning environment.
Located on the Norwest Christian College campus in Sydney's north-west sector, we offer a unique opportunity for teachers to collaborate with staff and parents to create excellent working relationships and achieve exceptional outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and mentor students with mild to moderate autistic/intellectual learning needs.
- Collaborate with Ngarra staff and parents to ensure student success.
- Pastorally care for Ngarra students in a Christian setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A NESA accredited teacher with tertiary education studies in Inclusive Education highly desired.
- Experience teaching Primary and/or Secondary students with additional needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use technology to engage students in learning.
- Knowledge of Disability Standards for Education.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to professional learning and growth.
- Ability to promote student wellbeing and share from a perspective of Christian faith.
