Vehicle Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Vehicle Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our vehicle logistics, supporting our organisation's operating plan targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record all inbound and outbound vehicle movements from internal yards
  • Prepare vehicles for outbound logistics
  • Update and track the location of all vehicles in the inventory system, ensuring accurate data capture
  • Ensure all vehicles in the yard are accounted for at any point in time
  • Make logistics bookings with 3PLs
  • Conduct daily stock checks in the inventory system to identify potential issues or bottlenecks
  • Troubleshoot and investigate discrepancies arising from incorrect vehicles received at the yard within predetermined time frames
  • Adhere to operational network standards and SOPs

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Experience with Google Sheets
  • Proven track record in high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • Prior exposure to automotive logistics advantageous
  • Familiarity with inventory management software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
