Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate individual to support the growth of women in Trades. For this brand new role, we are looking for women with experience working in a trade to join our team as Career Consultants. This role will aim to attract females to participate in career consultations to consider a career in trades.

About the Role

The Career Consultant is responsible for being the face of our Women in Trades Career Service, where you will play a crucial role in promoting our programs and services. In this new role to support growth of women in trades, you will make a tangible impact on women's careers by promoting opportunities in the trades industry.

Working alongside the Women Trade Lead, you will look to inspire more women to consider a career in trades.

About You

We are seeking women who have previously worked in a trade with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels. Ideally, you would have the following background:

  • Background in a trade, with a knowledge of the trade sector
  • Project management
  • Event coordination
  • Business development
  • Career coaching
  • Strategic networking and collaboration skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and a customer-focused orientation
  • Critical judgment plus adaptability and flexibility
  • A current Australian Drivers' Licence
