This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected Australia-owned specialist mechanical repair service centre based in Dandenong.

  • Our client specializes in truck mounted EWP's, crane borers, and vehicle loading cranes and is looking to add to their team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out scheduled servicing and repairs, including long-term maintenance of diesel trucks and plant
  • Completing tasks with the utmost precision, meeting deadlines consistently
  • Conducting vehicle inspections and assessments as necessary and completing the required documentation
  • Fostering a clean, safe work environment with an emphasis on continuous improvement
  • Routine and specialist diagnosis of vehicle/plant failures and implementing resolutions
  • Participating in routine administrative matters, including team meetings, communications, planning, and tool box sessions
  • Identifying and/or making recommendations or implementing opportunities to continuously improve workshop operations
