Food Services Assistant

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Food Services Assistant.

Our on-site production kitchen enables our catering staff to provide high-quality, fresh-cooked meals for patients, staff, surgeons, and partners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and possess a strong work ethic.

As a Food Services Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Distributing and collecting patient meals
  • Preparing food and beverages
  • Plating and heating meals
  • Cleaning duties, including use of an industrial dishwasher
  • Delivering meals to various wards and morning/afternoon teas

You will also be required to ensure that all patient data relating to bed and nutritional status is accurate and up-to-date.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Current Food Handlers Certificate (HLTFSE001)
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
  • Previous experience in the food service industry
  • Track record of providing excellent service and customer experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Demonstrated work ethic
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
