Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Catering Support Specialist. This role involves assisting with the setup and delivery of breakfast, morning tea, and lunch services in a boarding school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring fast and effective service during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and delivery of meals and snacks to students in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service skills when serving meals and snacks to students, families, and staff.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas at all times.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in assisting in kitchens, food preparation, and/or customer service is highly desirable.
  • The ability to work well independently and as part of a team is essential.
  • Pride in personal appearance and hygiene is a must.
  • Previous experience in education is preferred but not essential.
