Electrical Engineers play a crucial role in shaping the electrical industry, and we are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Switchboard Designer.

This exciting opportunity involves working on the design of switchboards for various clients, utilising skills in AutoCAD 2D and mechanical drafting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing construction drawings for electrical/control panels and switchboard
  • Preparing manufacturing documentation, including Bills of Materials
  • Preparation of as built drawings
  • Providing technical support to manufacturing teams
  • Collaborating with estimating teams
  • Presentation of designs to clients

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience working with switchboards, electrical and control panels
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is essential
  • In-depth knowledge of components and suppliers
  • Understanding of LV power design and AU/NZ standards
