About the Role

As a Disability Employment Services Career Transition Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our participants. You will work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, achieving great outcomes and developing strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and secure employment opportunities: Partner with local employers to create job openings for our participants.
  • Support job readiness: Help our participants identify skills needed to become job ready.
  • Deliver quality service: Adhere to contractual and compliance requirements while delivering exceptional support.
  • Enhance employability: Refer participants to training and support services to boost their employability.
  • Develop personalized job plans: Create clear employment pathways for each participant.
  • Foster positive relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers and community groups.
Your Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are driven, solution-focused and have a can-do approach. You should demonstrate empathy and compassion towards those with disability, injury and/or barriers to employment. Excellent communication skills and composure under pressure are essential for this role.

Candidates from sales, retail, call centre, hospitality, consulting, business development and administration backgrounds are well-suited for this role. We provide full training to help you transition into a career in Employment Services.
